I live in a three story flat where they used a "market" approach to decide who got which flat. There are three floors and when the price was equal, everyone wanted the top floor. At a different price, everyone wanted the bottom (cheapest) floor. They adjusted the prices of the flats until everyone was satisfied with the result. Well, maybe "satisfied" is a little too strong, but everyone agreed it was fair. Everytime Bobby, who lives on the bottom floor, comes up to visit, he comments on what a nice, sunny flat we live in! I am not advocating this necessarily, and think it would get more complicated the more units involved, but this is an approach that worked for them. Jim Ausman
