Has anyone out there heard of the R-2000 programme in Canada (other than the Canadaians on the list)? Initially just concerned with energy use of dwellings, it has now extended to broader environmental concerns including indoor air quality, construction waste, and embodied energy issues. If anyone is interested in hearing more, let me know. There is a book on R-2000 construction standards and a computer programme that can be used to assess the energy use of residential buildings.
