I was pleased to see such an interesting and wide-ranging discussion about
spirituality and "what is cohousing, anyway". It's true, however, that to
someone who was not at the conference, this discussion gave the impression
that the closing ceremony was the climax and major event; this was not
even remotely the case.

The conference was great! Some workshops were unfortunately not so useful,
while others were brilliant, For me, the opportunity to network, trade
stories, share triumphs and disappointments, etc, was invaluable. My group
has been in a sort of depressed slump after having (apparently) lost our
second site. It was very helpful for me to see that this process IS hard,
not just hard for us; that there really is a steep learning curve, it's
not just that our group screwed up...

In addition, the excitement about creating something really new in our
society was palpable. And that is heartening when all the meetings and the
frustrations get you down.

The food was great, the accomodations convenient and comfortable. The
level of organization was impressive.

Thanks again to all the organizers of the conference. Good work!
