our Pet Committee members, John Rymers:

Pet policy is a hot issue at Highline Crossing as well.  Instead of 
discussing whether or not pets should be on a leash, talk first about 
the concerns you have that would be resolved if the dogs were on 
leashes.  By addressing the underlying problem, you may be able to 
find some creative ways of addressing the problem while allowing more 
flexibility around putting dogs on leashes all the time.  It is 
important for everyone to listen to each other and respect each 
other's differences even though you disagree.
