I would add a very important element to Michael Mariner's goals for the continental coho org that, early on, you need to create not just a name, but also a very strong and consistent graphic identity including a logo, typefaces, and specifications for consistent use across all public materials--especially business papers, handouts, website, the Cohousing Journal, national display advertisements, and everything else. As corporate organizations know, a strong and consistent image is just as important as a strong and consistent message--both need to be given equal attention and respect in order to reach the largest possible audience most effectively. So don't just put graphic identity on the task list _somewhere_, put it _high up_ on the list!
