How do others feel about this? Most cohousers and cohousing sites *are*
more ecological than typical suburbanites, but is this enough to use the

In our community some folks wanted a fireplace in the common house. Other
folks felt fireplaces are another way to pollute the earth. The weather here
in the Bay Area doesn't require a fireplace as compared to the Sierras. It's
mostly a matter of ambience. There will be no fireplace in the common house,
but now there will be four or so units that will have fireplaces.
