I have never heard of a legal way to do this in a private ownership model of cohousing. Once a title is assigned, you have few options. This is one reason some groups opt to be coops, the group actually owns the collective mortgage and in some cases can refuse, retain, or revoke the shares assigned to any member based on criteria.
