Denmark Cohousing Tour Planned for June '99 !!!
A rare opportunity exists for North American cohousers to visit the
source of our movement in a planned tour of several Danish
cohousing communities from June 27-July 3, 1999. The tour, led by
Tom Pendleton of The Wayfarer's Bicycle Tours in Washington DC
(this is not a bicycle tour), is being sponsored by the East Coast
Regional Chapter of The Cohousing Network, and will include visits
to at least four cohousing communities near Copenhagen, a tour of
the city, a trip to Roskilde for another two communities, and a
visit to the famous Viking Ship Museum, and the great cathedral
where Danish kinds are buried, and an evening at Tivoli Gardens.
The trip includes lodgings and breakfasts in Danish hostels, most
suppers, admissions to certain attractions, and local
transportation fees (lunches and airfare to Denmark are not
included in the price). The cost for the tour package is $540, if
paid before May 22. After May 22, the cost goes up to $640.

Great bonus for tour participants: included in the tour price is a
$60 membership to The Cohousing Network for non-members and a $50
discount for existing TCN members.

The tour starts from Kastrup Airport in Copenhagen on Sunday, June
27, and ends there in time for return flights on Saturday, July 3.
Arrangements can be made for those who wish to extend their stay,
providing space is available.

To sign up for the tour, phone or fax Tom Pendleton at
1-202-234-2524 or send your check to PO Box 15671, Washington DC,
20003. This tour's going to fill, so sign up while there's still
space!
