One of our members used to work for the health department, inspecting
pools.  She says (in relation to our own group's occasional thoughts of a
hot tub) that hot tubs owned by a condominium association have much tougher
licensing, inspection, and testing regulations than those owned by a
private residence.  You'll want to look into that for your own locality.
