I think Rob's comments about housing options and diversity are right on
target, and so are Lynn's.  I also think the lot model has it's place, and
should be considered.  It provides for the opportunity to design custom
homes within a community.  But of course, you must be able to afford it.

It seems to me that the mix of the lot model and project model makes a lot
of sense for some people, and some communities.  An example of this might b=
e
a 30 unit project with 6 single family lots for sale and 24 clustered,
non-customized, cost effective homes built as one project.  I think a good
example is the project in Prescott, Arizona called Manzanita Village.  Chec=
