Here in Tucson, Arizona we are in the construction phase and are planning on
moving in this summer. Finally. It's really an exciting time. There are a
number of people who would like to be a part of our community but for
various reasons have chosen not to live in the community with us. We'd like
to know how other communities have chosen to include others in the
community. Do you have a policy of some sort. Is participation in common
house activities by invitation of a member only? Or do some people who
don't live in the community participate as community members except for the
fact of not living there? Where do you draw the lines as to who outside the
community can use the common facilities? Knowing how other communities
have dealt with this question will help us make our decision. Thanks in
advance for sharing your experiences.
