Fyi, both types of links work for me. Must be idiosyncratic.

Subject: Web addresses in messages - use http://

I've been browsing messages in the cohousing-L archives

http://csf.Colorado.EDU/cohousing/

and noticed that only web addresses that are complete are turned into
links. For example
www.cohousing.org will not be turned into a link whereas
http://www.cohousing.org will

Therefore to improve access to information via the archives
I urge everyone to use the http:// part

Fred
