Dear Cohouser,

We'd like to invite you to a free public talk taking place on Saturday, Feb.
10 from 7-9 P.M. at the Old Oakland Cohousing Community in downtown Oakland:
531 10th  Street (bet.Washington and Clay Streets), 2 blocks from the 12th
Street/City Center BART station.

Well known California cohousing expert, Joani Blank, will be giving a lively
talk about "Cohousing Neighborhoods: Lessons Learned through Shared Meals &
Lives." She will also be answering questions from her long time cohousing
experience as a Board Member of The Cohousing Network, a founding member of
Old Oakland and a former resident of Doyle Street Cohousing (Emeryville,
CA).

The talk is being sponsored by Oak Creek Commons, a cohousing community
being created in Paso Robles, CA (half way between San Francisco and Los
Angeles and 25 miles from the Central California coast.)  The future home of
Oak Creek Commons is on a 14 acre wooded site with a flowing creek and a
hiking trail, and within a five-minute walk to shops and schools.
