A number of individuals have rooms that they are often willing to have
others use. Some charge, some don't.  I don't know if we've ever filled up
every possible space. Each household sets its own policies & makes its own
decisions. Looking back, I still don't think it would have made sense, in
our budget, with our priorities, to include guest rooms in the common house.
The number seems OK to me. I've put up vistors at various neighbor's houses
and its worked out well.

I would like to know how many communities on this list have guest rooms and
if they are used often.  I would also like to know:


1) Are they overbooked on major holidays?

2) How do you decide who gets to use the guest rooms?

3) How are they cleaned/maintained?

4) What are your guest policies?

5) Would you have built more/fewer guest rooms if you had it to do over?

6) Has having guests had a positive or a negative impact on your community?
Why?
