We don't have it during dinner, because everyone hates the noise. It makes everyone talk louder, which we don't need. We don't have a rule about it, but anyone who tried to play music would probably be asked to stop it. We do have a member who is a classical guitarist, and her occasional playing seems to have a calming and quieting effect. Cooks generally like to have the music of their choice playing while they cook. Teens have a boom box upstairs they listen to, but I never hear it. > Since everyone was away at the Coho conference when I asked this question, I > want to re-ask it. > > How do you handle music in the commonhouse, particularly for meals, although > other times as well? > > Sharon > -- > Sharon Villines > Takoma Village Cohousing, Washington DC > http://www.takomavillage.org _______________________________________________ Cohousing-L mailing list Cohousing-L [at] cohousing.org Unsubscribe and other info: http://www.communityforum.net/mailman/listinfo/cohousing-l
