Call for articles: What Do Children Learn in Community?

Communities magazine <http://fic.ic.org/cmag/> is seeking articles, poems, photographs, art, etc. for the Spring Issue on the topic of:

"What Do Children Learn in Community?"

+ What unique opportunities does community living offer children for learning social, practical, and intellectual skills? + Are intentional communities holistic "schools of life" for community children? + Does growing up in community make for richer, stronger, more balanced human beings?
+ What about community schools, or homeschooling co-ops organized by parents?

To submit an article or suggest what might be a good article and who might write one, contact: Diana Christian <communities [at] ic.org> by Dec 7th to share your idea and get the Writers Guidelines. Article drafts will be due Jan 1, 2002.
