I would add a couple to the list of axioms. 1. Community is created to enhance relationships. This is the point of cohousing. If your development process is damaging your relationship then you are out of balance with your purpose. 2. Cohousers become real estate developers in order to create a place to live in community. 3. Real estate development often requires processes that run counter to relationship building. 4. In the balance between real estate development and relationship building, in the long run, relationship building will have a greater impact on your life together later. 5. Almost always, relationship building falls to the wayside in deference to real estate development issues because of money concerns. 6. People who are project managers and also community members run a huge risk of having their relationships damaged with other community members.
