Hi Jessie!

When comparing housing prices in DC w/ Durham, breathe deeply and slowly
into a paper bag. It won't change the price but it does look rather
humorous if you stand in front of a mirror while doing it.

Are you considering Blueberry Hill?

Something great will happen. Hang in...

> Well, I've been living in Eno Commons in Durham, NC, since mid-1998 and
will be moving out sometime this summer to take a job in Washington, DC. My
family and I love living in cohousing (almost all the time) and we have
struggled with this decision mightily for several months. My kids have
stipulated that they are only agreeing to move if we stay in cohousing!
> I currently have an interesting job and, if you had asked last summer,
would have said that I'd never see myself uprooting my life and family to
follow a job. Just goes to show, you should never say never.
> We are looking at cohousing opportunities in the DC area (and
hyperventilating in sticker shock). Among other things, I'm trying to figure
out how much commute cohousing is worth. Anyone else out there pulling a
long commute for cohousing? Pros? Cons?
