Diane,
    Yes, we have a dumpster. You can see the enclosure in our web site
(www.manzanitavillage.com) under "building progress", the last photo, the
concrete block enclosure at the top of the road.

We also have recycling, which requires separate, smaller containers.  And we
have a compost area.

We currently have a dozen units, with more being built (which are available
now).  We will eventually have 36 units, ( with 10  lots still available)
The single dumpster will service the entire community, although we may go to
a larger one at that time, if needed. We are in the process of ordering an
electric utility vehicle (like a golf cart with a small truck bed) so that
trash or recycling or compost can be collected on a regular basis and taken
to the appropriate location.  This also creates a little community service
job for some of our older kids.
