What? >From a different perspective: in order to answer a question from the town planning board about the impact our proposed project would have on the surrounding community, a cohousing group I had been involved with did a survey of existing communities and found the surprising result that almost all that responded had a 2:1 ratio of adults to children (for example, 36 adults and 18 children). The accuracy of that ratio across different communities was startling.
