FYI, there are two alternatives to unsubscribing that address the
quantity-of-email problem. The first is changing your subscription to
digest mode, which will result in your receiving only one email per day,
with a message body containing all that day's postings.

The second is to create a folder in your email program for the
Cohousing-L messages, then set a filter to route all incoming emails to
that folder automatically. Virtually all modern email programs support
this, and it isn't hard to learn to do. You can tell your email program
to identify the Cohousing messages by looking for those addressed to
"Cohousing-L [at] cohousing.org".

When you do the latter the Cohousing-L emails never get mixed up with
your personal email, and you can leave them sitting in their folder till
you get good and ready to look at them. If they pile up there, they
don't bother anything else, and you can easily select and delete them in
quantity without fear of clobbering your personal email.

I did not realize there would be such a deluge of emails every day!
Please take me off the list.

Thank you.
