2. Developer seeks architect/land plannerThe developer of a mixed-use project in a southeastern Massachusetts community would like to hear from architects interested in this 80,000-square-foot project that includes a half-dozen buildings, 50 condo units and 12 retail/office units. The location is at the access to I-195 and is the entrance to the town. It will be designed and built under a LIP comprehensive permit. The land-planning and building design shall reflect the traditional New England village (quaint, understated, etc.) and each building shall be a distinctive design (they will not be designed to look like each other). Land planning is an important element. For details, e-mail Wayne Walega at wwalega [at] comcast.net .
