At Sharingwood we have always had a phone. However we do not distribute the
phone number except to members. Our website handles all our marketing
contact info. The current phone is not cordless and this facilitates keeping
the phone found.

Subject: [C-L]_ cordless phone, answering machine in the common house?

Searching the archives, I see a lot of support for having a phone in the CH.
Do any of you have experience pro or con of having a cordless phone as the
common house phone, and of having it take messages or not?

thanks,
sarito
(make it happen person for the common house phone, Nevada City CoHo, where
they've just paved the driveway in our parking area)
