Dear folks,

Here is the latest info on the Community Facilitator Intensive Series in northern California.

The first training is coming up very soon now, Nov. 17-20 at Pleasant Hill Cohousing (starts Thursday evening and runs through Sunday afternoon). There are still some slots open, if you want to sign up you need to contact registrar Sigal Shoham as soon as possible, either email <sigalshoham [at] gmail.com> or phone 510-712-5522.

The second weekend is scheduled for February 9-12 at Muir Commons in Davis, CA. That weekend will have an unusual schedule in order to enable community members to attend a consensus training on Saturday.

The third weekend, including agenda planning, format variations (how to talk about issues in ways other than whole group discussion), delegation to committees, and more, will be held at FrogSong Cohousing in Cotati, probably June 1-4, 2006.

All of the weekends include both training time and sessions where attendees get to facilitate live meetings of the host community. Students traveling from far away can receive free lodging at the host community. You can sign up for any one weekend or any combination or the full series of eight weekends over two years. These workshops are offered on a "gift economy" basis where you get to decide how much to pay. Some individuals are receiving financial support from their communities to attend.

There is more information posted on the series at my website http://treegroup.info/professional/D3-series.html, or feel free to contact me with questions.

P.S. And if you prefer to be removed from this email list, please let me know. Thanks.
