Yes!! Earthsong Eco-Neighbourhood is alive and flourishing in Auckland. A couple of us lurk on this list, but as we are into our 5th year of construction (phew!), we haven't had much spare energy to contribute to the discussions so far. But our beautiful common house will be finished before Christmas and we've just started building the last 8 houses, so we're on the home straight. Which also means there are only 4 houses left for sale, but rental opportunities come up from time to time. Our website is a good place to start. We are in the process of relocating to New Zealand and would love to see if there are any NZ folks on the list. Our plan is to explore communities in the North Island around Auckland (and Coromandel area). Anyone out there? If so, might we plan to meet in December or January? And, do you know if there are any six-month rental options in your communities so that we may experience co-housing initially? Look forward to your replies. Please email me directly awsf2003 [at] earthlink.net . Kind wishes, Athena P.S. I found the NZ directory of co-housing locations too and will peek into that. :) _________________________________________________________________ Cohousing-L mailing list -- Unsubscribe, archives and other info at: http://www.cohousing.org/cohousing-L/
