You've both named something that I value as well: less, not more, population. I have no human children (I adopt and mother homeless cats), so I hesitate to comment on this topic. What I've wanted to say is that I have felt surprised by the number of people I encounter who advocate for cohousing and reduced consumption, and yet who also bear children. Maybe some of you can comment on reconciling the values of preserving our Earth and also having more children. Thanks.
