Everybody, please send your solutions or ideas to the listserv, not just to
Karen. We have our bike storage in the CH basement hanging on
ceiling-mounted racks. This system consumes too much of our basement space
and we'd like to do something different.

Him I live at Bellingham Cohousing in Bellingham WA. Altho our original plans called for bicycle storage, it hasn't been built in the 7 years of our existence. I'm interested in comments/designs/photos of your community's bike storage area. Whatever you have to send me is great! We're just beginning to get really serious about this. We've just had a big laundry room renovation that has (of course) run over budget, so we want to keep this simple and inexpensive, with our interested members doing as much of the building as possible. We have about 40 bikes that currently live in various garages, on porches, in bedrooms, etc. We've discussed hanging and pulley systems and have a few that must be on the ground, including an electric bike and a couple of kid carriers. We have the usual group that wants the storage facility vs the group that thinks it's ok the way it has always been (they usually have their own garages or don' have bikes!). Meetings, proposals, consensus, when will it end!? Much thanks in advance, Karen _________________________________________________________________ Cohousing-L mailing list -- Unsubscribe, archives and other info at: http://www.cohousing.org/cohousing-L/
