There are 11 days left to register for hosting an exhibit table at the upcoming 
1st Annual Conference of the Cohousing Association of the United States in 
Seattle, Washington if you want your community or organization to be listed in 
the conference materials.



The theme for the conference is Growing Community!  This conference is THE 
venue for those who live in cohousing, who are seeking a community, and for 
cohousing experts to learn new ways to "grow community." The 2009 conference 
will be held from Friday, June 26 to Sunday, June 28 and will feature more than 
50 program offerings - invited speakers, workshops, seminars, and tours. The 
conference will be based at the beautiful University of Washington campus. The 
exhibit hall and registration areas will be on the main floor of Gould Hall. 

 

Hosting an exhibit table will give you a chance to present pictures, maps and 
information about what your community offers to people who are enthusiastic 
about the cohousing way of life and are looking for a community to join. The 
exhibit area also gives you many social networking opportunities for discussing 
your needs with cohousing experts at other tables and sharing problems and 
solutions with other cohousing communities there. 

 

There will be an opening reception for the exhibit hall from 8:30 pm to 10pm on 
Friday, June 26. Table setup will be from 8am to 3pm on Friday, June 26 and 
tables may remain until as late as 2:00 p.m. on Sunday. 

 

The specific hours that the exhibit area will be open (and that you should 
staff your table) will be:

  a.. Friday, June 26 5:00pm to 7:00pm 
  b.. Friday, June 26 8:30pm to 10:00pm (during the post-Keynote Reception) 
  c.. Saturday, June 27 12:00pm to 7:00pm 
  d.. Sunday, June 28 8:00am to 10:30am 
  e.. Sunday, June 28 12:00pm to 2:00pm

Exhibiting at the 2009 Conference
 

Exhibit tables will be located in a central area near registration, the 
Bookstore, and the coffee break area.  Exhibit Area will be open from 3pm on 
June 26 until 2pm June 28 (Please note that the Exhibit Area is not a secured 
room, it is an open area so valuable items should not be left unattended).  

Exhibitors can select their preferred exhibit table location on a first come 
first served basis according to receipt of the Exhibitor Registration Form.

Cohousing Groups and Non Profits 

$250 for a whole table (30" x 60")

$150 for a half table  (30" x 30")

Co-housing and Non Profit Groups CANNOT sell product from their booths

 

Electrical outlets exist at the perimeter of the exhibit area; please bring 
extension cords if you require electricity. Table cover will not be provided. 
Access to the exhibit area will begin at 8am on Friday, June 26, 2009.

All Exhibitors will be invoiced within 2 weeks of commitment. All payments are 
due upon receipt of the invoice. Exhibit tables will be assigned on a first
