Being a brand new building, we are happy with the results of this big test! We had a lot of rain which accummulated on the landscape but quickly drained away. Inside, we were comfortable and didn't run out of water until this morning just before the power came back on. (We have a well with a large holding tank and large hotwater tank, which kept the water hot for more than two days.) Our Energy Star refrigerators kept the food cool and the freezer kept the food frozen. So we know we can survive for two days!
