One issue that keeps coming up for us is having people conclude that they don't need to work in a particular area(e.g. meals, be it cooking or cleaning) because they'd prefer to work on something else, e.g. building workshop shelves. To my mind this works up to a point, but it seems that there are jobs that no one has an affinity for but they are central to the idea of cohousing (like meals, keeping the public spaces in good order,). Any thoughts, advice? Barbara Smith
