There is some social interaction but only because people plan to do their laundry at a certain time because they will already be there for something else. Minimally because one is transferring laundry when another is beginning. Laundry doesn't seem to be something people sit around and wait for. They are doing errands and housekeeping generally so aren't in the mood to chat. BUT has anyone done any cost comparisons between leasing and owning. Our expenses don't seem to be that great with owning. I think we have only replaced two machines in 12 years. The biggest problem is people putting too much dry detergent in the washers and gumming up something that triggers a turn off. But we have a couple of people who know how to fix this.
