What's missing in this conversation is, why does Charles Durrett
recommend the smaller dishwasher? Is it really about saving space? I
doubt it - that's a very small saving. If these are common in Europe,
why is that? Do they just have different cabinet standards, or is there
another reason? Maybe the smaller ones are more efficient. Saving water
and energy is very important in European homes.
No surprise the developer recommends 24". They're what people have come to expect, and from the developer's viewpoint you're building a condo.
One other point: while the overall width is reduced by 1/4, the inside width is reduced more like 1/3.
