Takoma Village does not have these and I haven't seen them in person. Temporary walls are visual barriers but most do not actually stop sound. These look very promising. SilentSpace Panel is a free-standing flexible wall system. Easily set up. Sections join with magnets. Can serve a crash barrier when put along the walls. 78″ tall. 8′ (57lbs) or 12′(85lbs) long. The panel cores are made of LDPE (low density polyethylene) Foam core. LDPE — a durable, lightweight, flexible, solid extruded plank. Offers strength, resistance to creep under load, vibration and shock absorbency, and water resistance. http://www.silentsource.com/fwpanels-silentpanel.html Panels roll for storage, with 15ft rolling into 24 inches. Or stand against the wall taking 2 inches of space. Wash with soap and water. Punctures are all but invisible. http://www.silentsource.com/efs/fwpanels-versipanel-storage.htm • ASTM E-84 Tunnel Test (Class A) • Flame Spread 15 • Smoke Density 30 (Caution: polyethylene foam is combustible and should not be exposed to flame or other ignition sources). Independently tested by Western Electro-Acoustic Laboratory for noise reduction. Rated at .80 (Noise Reduction Coefficient). Colors: French Blue, Pewter, Roan (taupe) Custom made and non-returnable Sharon ---- Sharon Villines Takoma Village Cohousing, Washington DC http://www.takomavillage.org
