How did Alan O’Hashi’s name get spliced into the Cohousing-l email address?

I cannot separate his name from the rest of the address even by typing the 
address letter by letter.  I”ve noticed this in other folk’s emails so it’s not 
just moi.

Help?

PS.  I like Alan.  I just want to delete his name from the email address.
