I question the merit of transfer fees.

Do you welcome newcomers??? Or not?

Would you rather have them well oriented or disoriented?

Does your community treat newcomers and renters as resident members or
transient drifters? Are they welcome or shunned?

Are renters treated a prospective purchasers, or as predators?

Everyone has a different perspective, including those who were first in and
those who were last in, as well as those who are silently considering whether
they will stay in.

Just saying, there are as many different perspectives as there are members and
non-members.
