A more complex solution is a timebank. Giving people rides to shopping, doctors
appt, the airport, etc, is a big exchange. People receive credit hour for hour.
So if A takes B to the doctor, B pays A 2 hours or however much time it takes.

Then A can use those 2 hours to pay C for dog walking.

C then uses the 2 hours to pay for yoga lessons.

Transportation is something everyone needs sometimes, particularly trips to the
airport, so it a frequent offer and request.

It isn’t your own car but it can fill in a lot of gaps if you live in a mostly
walkable community or need help when the first car in the household is in use.
