Re: commercial or residential refrigerator?

We recently replaced a pair of residential refrigerators in our common
house kitchen (Whirlpool model GB22DKXGW02), because one of them failed
after 17 years' service. The replacement refrigerators are
Whirlpool WRF535SMBM00 which cost about $1000 each at Sears. These units
have pull-out "drawer" freezer compartments at the bottom. We got icemakers
in both of them.

-Approximately how many diners do you typically cook dinner for?
*20 might be typical*
-Can you put full-size sheet pans inside?
*Full sheet pans (18x26) would easily fit, although the largest pans we
cook with are half-sheet (13x18)*
-What do you like and not like about your fridge(s)?
*The "french doors" give great access*
-Is it inconvenient to have 2 separate fridges, if that's what you have?
*We are used to having two fridges, and it works well for us.*
-What brand and model is it?
*Whirlpool WRF535SMBM00*
-What year did you get it?
*2016*

One of our members with commercial kitchen experience recommended a
residential over commercial unit. Her comments were that commercial
equipment is designed to hold temperature more precisely and to stabilize
more quickly when new food is loaded; this is based on health code
considerations. While this sounds good, it means they have more powerful
compressors, which cycle more often, and generally don't last as long
before needing service. Also the commercial kitchens don't usually care
much about noise. Of course that statement is a broad generalization and
may not apply to a specific model you are considering.
