I’m offering a 10-week online course on sociocracy for cohousing and other
kinds of intentional communities starting Saturday, October 10th. Sociocracy,
sometimes called Dynamic Governance, is an especially effective and enjoyable
self-governance and decision-making method.

As a cohousing advocate and consultant since 2003, I've found that sociocracy
tends to work better for cohousers than classic, traditional consensus and even
modified forms of consensus like the N St. Method.

The webinar is Saturday, Oct. 10 to Saturday, Dec. 12. $245-$445 sliding scale.
EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT: $215-$445 sliding scale, through Sep 25th. Time: Pacific:
10am -12 noon, Mountain, 11 am - 1pm, Central, 12 noon -2 pm, Eastern, 1-3 pm.

“I've never seen a community meeting be so effective, efficient, and fun!”

This was the comment of a visitor to Hart's Mill Ecovillage in North Carolina,
a community using sociocracy.

When used accurately, and when using what I call "all seven parts" of
sociocracy, cohousers can experience:
(1) Better meetings (2) Getting more done (3) Being better organized (4)
Feeling more harmoniously connected to other group members

Communities that have taken the webinar were able to use each part of
sociocracy in their group immediately after they learned it over the 10
week-course.

after the webinar and additional help if needed.

Here’s what a recent webinar participant said:

"I took Diana’s webinar as a member of two intentional communities using
sociocracy, one in Turkey and one in Canada. Each group now has highly
effective meetings — making decisions much faster than before. Our productivity
has increased and we're and joyfully accomplishing previously daunting tasks.
Diana presents sociocracy in an engaging, easily understandable, fun way — and
in the context of how intentional communities function well — combining
different teaching methods to ensure everyone fully gets it. I wholeheartedly
recommend her training for smoother, more enjoyable community governance!"
—Ezgi Sarıoğlu, Kabile, Turkey, and Teal House, Calgary.

About me as an instructor, I’ve taught sociocracy to cohousing and other kinds
of intentional communities since 2012. I'm the author of Creating a Life
Together and Finding Community, and was the editor of Communities magazine for
14 years. I specialize in what works well in cohousing communities,
ecovillages, and other kinds of intentional communities, and have had the
privilege of leading workshops and pre-conference workshops at Coho/US national
conferences.

I hope sociocracy and this webinar may interest you and your group!
