thanks Sharon. I agree that we cannot require it. i am worried what can happen in a community if a member might choose not to vaccinate for philosophical reasons, what the fallout might be. judith -----Original Message----- From: Sharon Villines <sharon [at] sharonvillines.com> To: lienjud [at] aol.com; Cohousing-L <cohousing-l [at] cohousing.org> Sent: Tue, Apr 13, 2021 6:35 pm Subject: Re: [C-L]_ community guidelines re covid vaccinations On Apr 13, 2021, at 9:08 PM, Judith Lienhard/US/OR/CC via Cohousing-L <cohousing-l [at] cohousing.org> wrote: > i am wondering if any discussions have come up in communities and decisions > made re: covid vaccinations. Have communities required all members to be > vaccinated e.g. etc.? thanks for any input. I don’t think anyone can require it or even to be the judge of whether a person has actually been vaccinated or not. We do have a person who is keeping a tally of people who self-report as having been vaccinated. A cheerful cheerleader tone updating everyone on the percentages vaccinated in each 4 or 5 age groups. I can’t imagine anyone in the community not telling the truth about being vaccinations but if everyone else is vaccinated they should be fine.
