We had spoken with some of the members of that group and found that for various reasons, the project never came to fruition. Despite the fact, they had the land and eventually town approval, costs had increased, and it was hard to get the number of households on board that they needed to begin building. They sold the land about six years ago. As we know, it's hard to build a community even when you have land, founders, partial funding, etc. And as I mentioned, we have not found anything else underway in the Hudson Valley. But we know there is enough interest, so we definitely think it is worth trying again! -----Original Message----- From: Dick Margulis <dick [at] dmargulis.com> Sent: Wednesday, October 27, 2021 8:27 AM To: cohousing-l [at] cohousing.org; dogpeople [at] optonline.net Subject: Re: [C-L]_ CoHo in tri state Region What happened with the group looking to develop a property in Rosendale (Ulster County)?
