“Governance” may bring up images of The Government and Big Brother, but then, we all know that Sociocracy and Socialism are the same thing, right? Maybe organizing is how you get things done, but in the minds of many millennials, organization rhymes with fossilization. We may be working on the wrong problem: That of finding a vocabulary of denotation and connotation so obvious and universal that no one has to learn a new concept, or think. In other words, we’re looking for a way of marketing sociocracy to non-thinkers. If that’s our battle, then we’ve already lost the war.
