yes, the two who objected most to the 'strangers' around the neighborhood moved
i'd argue that air b and b is a home occupation on steroids. the home owner -
who may or may not be on the premises - allows numerous paying visitors to stay
for various lengths of time, who come and go at all hours, are given a key, and
access to the common areas. most communities have a guest room or two, and air
b and b is like having, in the case of silver sage, two more guest rooms with
new people coming and going. last election cycle, the citizens voted that air b
and b type entrepreneurs have to now obtain a city permit and collect sales and
use taxes, like hotels/motels.

silver sage village is an outlier when it comes to community and business. ssv
operates the  common house as an enterprise. in a high cost area like boulder,
the ssv common house is a less expensive option when it comes to meeting and
office space:
- artist incubator with six artists
- two artist offices / studios
- exercise classes in the work out room
- writing and other classes in the main room
- conferences, wedding receptions, art shows, music concerts
for the most part, revenue overrides xenophobia
