the 220volt that i mentioned means kitchen. regardless of local zoning 
ordinances, increasing density via retrofit under the radar is dicey.

ps - There was a multifamily building developer in Boulder who gained approval 
for dwelling units of x-square footage, but after the approvals, devised a 
room-divider system that allowed each to be divided into two pods. That was a

But if the owner is in residence, it doesn’t count as not-owner occupied. Which 
is another reason to have the pods clustered and owned by one person who lives 
there.
