Hi Chris,

It depends on what you consider "internal membership software". If Drupal
and G-Suite are in that category, then I expect there are a number of
co-housing communities using generic software to share content with their
members. When you first asked your question, I thought you were looking
for software specializing in small-group membership management.

We use a combination of G-Suite and Wordpress for sharing information among
our membership, budgeting/accounting, expense/invoice tracking, marketing,
decision tracking&minutes, calendaring/booking, intra-community
communication, etc. But I wouldn't classify either G-Suite or Wordpress as
something which is similar to Mosaic and Gather. We have needed to do a
bunch of custom work on the G-Suite and Wordpress platforms to do what we
need, and we're continuing to do that. So instead of being dependent on a
small software business, we are dependent on the technical skills of our
members. Having worked with Drupal in the past, I expect that's even more
true for Arbco's use of Drupal, but that's just a guess.

My understanding of Mosaic and Gather is that they are focused on the
"small community" membership market, and are delivering a solution which
can be operated by a community without the need for strong technical skills
within the community.
