I'm sending a last-minute re-invitation to the Climate Change Leadership
Workshop this weekend, which I'll be attending, in case anyone else is
suddenly inspired to join me.

At the bottom is a second invitation, to a MN350 event/fundraiser on
Saturday, October 26, at 6 pm (just following day one of the workshop) at
Gandhi Mahal, 3009 27th Avenue South, Minneapolis. Marcy is sponsoring a
Power Shift 2013 activist, who will then work with the CCC, and said she is
likely to attend. I plan to attend as well if I feel energetic enough at
the end of the workshop. The food at Gandhi Mahal is most excellent.

Greetings!

Thank you for registering to attend MN350’s Climate Leadership Workshop.
We are excited to have you and all the passion, skills and experience you

an experiential weekend of learning and sharing.

Help us spread the word about this opportunity:

This workshop is a valuable tool particularly when folks you are working
with take it as well! The design allows for collaboration on relevant
issues and having a shared framework and toolbox is useful as you move forward
in your work. So please spread the word about this workshop to your
networks and make individual invitations to those you think would be
interested. We have spaces to fill and would appreciate your help getting
the word out! Help us make the most out of this opportunity for the
climate movement here in Minnesota!!

About the facilitators:

Erika Thorne has been a progressive activist, writer, facilitator and
cultural worker since 1974. She focuses on anti-racism work with other
whites, coalition-building, and diversity work. She also loves to
facilitate strategic planning, training of trainers, hate-crimes response,
board development, conflict waging, ethical grassroots fundraising, and
meetings - especially real sticky ones! As a former dancer for social
change, she brings joyful physicality to her facilitation. Erika is a
Training Elder with Training for Change.

Erin Pratt is program coordinator for MN350, a Minnesota based climate
justice organization. For the past 15 years Erin Pratt has worked on
environmental and social justice concerns, seeing the indivisible
connection between the two. She believes that healing in our relationship
to our environment is not only essential for our own health but necessary
if we are to make changes to create a livable, just and sustainable future.
She has been training with 350.org to offer climate leader workshops around
the country.
