Subject: Commuter buddy 6.07 10am

The average Twin Cities commuter puts about 2.6 tons of greenhouse gas
emissions into the atmosphere every year by driving alone to work. That's
just one person. Multiply that volume of pollution times the number of
people driving alone each day and it adds up to a very weighty problem.
You can lighten your impact on the environment by leaving your car at home
more often and still get where you need to be. Getting out of your car and
sharing the ride - even one day a week - can make a difference. Come join
us in June for a variety of commuter challenge workshops:

Commuter Buddy Program Orientation Sat, June 7th 10am-Noon Franklin
Library at 1314 E. Franklin Avenue Sign up for the Commuter Buddy Program
and you will be paired up with an expert commuter - you will learn about
car-less options, work one-on-one with your buddy to plan a commuter or
trip route and set a date to practice and time the route together. Are you
already a commuter? Volunteer to be paired with a new commuter to train
them in!

To RSVP, please email info [at] doitgreen.org, call 612.345.7973 or reserve
your spot at www.doitgreen.org!

A suggested donation of $5 for each workshop can be made online or at
the workshop. Do It Green! appreciates your support!
