HI, Next Tuesday the salon will center around a discussion led by Susu Jeffery and Sue Ann Martinson. Hope you can make it. Why Aren’t Environment & Peace People Working Together? This discussion is a response to the Future First Women’s (environmental) Congress and all the peace events I’ve attended where a single issue dominated. I think of the late Marv Davidov who encouraged everybody’s efforts at events all over the progressive issues map. Truly it’s the same-same, this domination game and we are all losers. Exclusive movement fiefdoms are stalling efforts to close the never-ending war(s) that feed the petro-poisoning economy. It wasn’t apathy but anger at a constipated system that kept voters away from the November elections. We call on people to connect the dots. Please come to Patty Guerrero’s Pax Salon, sit in a circle and discover our commonalities and how to support each other. Pax Salon Tuesday, December 9, 6:30-8:30 pm Saint Paul Gallery 943 West 7th Street (just east of Randolph, across from the pawn shop) Thanks, Patty
