Here's a link to an E & E Publishing article about the carbon tax:
http://www.eenews.net/stories/1059994436. The 22-page analysis submitted by
the Carbon Tax Center mentioned in the article (with a link) was submitted
on behalf of the Citizens Climate Lobby, which has set passing a carbon tax
as its primary legislative goal. Good luck with that in a Congress in which
the word 'tax' is often considered the moral equivalent of sin. Still, it's
an excellent idea whose time may yet come.
