Environmental Justice Advocates of Minnesota, Alliance for Sustainability,

This convergence, held will advance local and national efforts to grow
food, energy, transit, and community development solutions that protect the
environment, advance social justice, and create communities that are
materially and socially self-sustaining. This convergence will engage
community organizers, entrepreneurs, and community development
organizations working to create a just and sustainable local economy in the
Twin Cities, as well as youth innovators working in these fields in
communities across the country, to spur collaboration and deeper and
broader action.

In 2013, Urban Oasis was the winning idea in The Saint Paul Foundation's $1
million Forever Saint Paul Challenge. Today, Urban Oasis is an initiative

*Join MN350 at the People’s Climate March in NYC*
*Sept 20 & 21!*
Leaders from across the world will gather at an important UN meeting on
climate change in New York this September 20th-21th.

In September, world leaders are coming to New York City for a UN summit on
the climate crisis. UN Secretary­ General Ban Ki-­moon is urging
governments to support an ambitious global agreement to dramatically reduce
global warming pollution.

MN350 will be coordinating group bus and train travel to the People’s
Climate March. We will likely leave Saturday the 20th in the morning and
return Sunday the 21st, although alternative trips may be available. More

Sept. 7*, due to dangerously high water in Minnehaha Creek and surrounding
