Cohousing-L Mailing List: ADMINISTRIVIA: ACK mail mode now the default

We have changed the listserver configuration so that 
"ACK" is default mail mode now. This means that a copy of
messages will be sent back to the author.  This assures posters
that their message got posted ok. (There are a few things that go
wrong; if you send a message and dont get a copy back, send me a note.)

If you don't want "ACK" mode, send the command SET COHOUSING-L MAIL NOACK
to listserv [at] uci.com.

BTW subscribers with mail mode "DIGEST" get one message per day
with all messages for the day including any that THEY HAVE POSTED.

Also ACK NOACK DIGEST and POSTPONE (no mail sent) are the four
mutually exclusive mail modes available with this listserver.
You can have one and only one time for your subscription. To change
mail mode, set another with the commmand SET COHOUSING-L MAIL <mode>
where <mode> is one of the four.  Many subscribers have found this 
confusing so I repeat it again...
